Service Description

This second 10-week session of Longevity Tree builds upon the foundational movements introduced in the first session, offering an opportunity to deepen your connection with this ancient qigong form. Rooted in the Nam Hoa Temple tradition since the 6th century, the practice continues to focus on harmonizing your chi—your vital life force energy—through flowing, meditative movements. In this session, we further explore the poetic imagery of the form, such as the tree symbolizing life and longevity, the dragon embodying rooted expansion, and gestures awakening compassion through heart-centered movements. Returning participants will refine their balance of yin and yang energies while delving into new layers of meaning within the movements. As a continuation, this session is designed for those who have completed the first 10 weeks. However, individuals with prior experience in qigong or similar practices may inquire with the instructor about joining. Longevity Tree offers transformative benefits, including improved balance, stress relief, enhanced immune function, and greater overall vitality. Through consistent practice, it nurtures a profound harmony of mind, body, and spirit.
